dc.descriptionThe research has its objectives as to 1) to construct a self- access learning package and 2) to study the opinions/satisfactions of restaurant workers in Doi Saket Hot Spring Area, Chiang Mai towards the self- access learning package. The samples of the study are 35 restaurant workers. The research instruments consist of 1) the questionnaire for collecting general data, surveying needs in developing restaurant workers’ communicative English skills 2) the self- access learning package 3) pretest and posttest and 4) the form for evaluating restaurant workers’ opinion and satisfaction towards self- access learning package. The research results were found as follows. 1) the self-estimate of English communicative skills of the restaurant workers was found at lowest and low levels, not sufficient with needs in working in a restaurant, and they studied to improve their skills mainly through booklet and textbook as a self-directed learning method. 2) The self- access learning package designed according to restaurant workers’ needs analysis consists of (1) Welcoming Customers (2) Taking an Order and Food Recommendation (3) Dishes and Ingredients (4) Cooking and (5) Receiving Money. Followed by pretest and posttest before and after learning by using the self- access learning package, the results were found that the restaurant workers have their communicative English skills after learning higher than before learning with statistical significant point at .01. 3) The results show that the opinion and satisfaction of restaurant workers toward the self-access learning package were at high level ( x =3.82).th_TH
dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) สร้างชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารด้วยตนเองสำหรับผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหาร ในพื้นที่น้ำพุร้อนดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็น/ความพึงพอใจของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหาร ในพื้นที่น้ำพุร้อนดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยประชากรและกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหารในเขตน้ำพุร้อน ดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 35 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไป การสำรวจความต้องการพัฒนาด้านทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 2) ชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง 3) แบบทดสอบความรู้ก่อนและหลังเรียนชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ และ 4) แบบประเมินความคิดเห็นของกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีต่อชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ระดับทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหารอยู่ในระดับควรปรับปรุงและพอใช้ ซึ่งไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการในการประกอบอาชีพ และผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหารศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษหรือค้นคว้าเพิ่มเติมด้วยตนเองจากตำรา/คู่มือเป็นหลัก 2) ชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองได้รับการออกแบบตามการวิเคราะห์ความต้องการนของกลุ่มตัวออย่างมีขอบเขตด้านเนื้อหาเนื้อหา 5 หน่วย ดังนี้ (1) การต้อนรับลูกค้าเบื้องต้น (2) การรับรายการอาหาร (3) รายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับรายการอาหาร/ส่วนประกอบอาหาร (4) การปรุงอาหาร/ประกอบอาหาร และ (5) การรับเงิน ผลการทดสอบความรู้ก่อนและหลังเรียนด้วยการใช้ชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 3) ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจร้านอาหารส่วนใหญ่มีความคิดเห็นต่อชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองอยู่ในระดับมาก มาก ( x =3.82)th_TH
