This research involving a qualitative and an anthropology of music method has thrown up the following significant results; The collected data from the documents, the interview and using participatory observation shows that the physical appearance of Te-hna-ku has the resonance box ike a boat, the neck bend to protrude from the sound box. The front of the resonance box is covered with the aluminium pad. The tuning pegs are made from the bamboo stretched between tuning pegs and the lid of the sound box by the bicycle break cables. The Te-hna-ku has 6-10 strings and using the major and minor pentatonic scales. Te-hna-ku is played by both hands: that is the right hand plays the melody or chord and the left hand plays bass or harmony and drone. Te-hna-ku is played accompanying the Aeu-Ta or other songs. According to the musical culture conservation of the Karen, the school should contain the Te-hna-ku in the folk music curriculum, and the government or the public agencies should promote the Te-hna-ku shows in any public activities, including the temple fairs or the traditional activities in order to make the Pgazkoenyau or the Karen people realize the value of the musical culture and conserve it. For the application of the Te-hna-ku for to the tourism, it is found that Ban Chan, Kanlayani Watthana District is one of the natural tourist attractions and also the Karen culture, so the cooperation between the community, the government, the private agencies and the three community schools should created to support the activities in promoting the music culture and to give opportunity to the Te-hna-ku shows as the potential Karen ethnic music.
