| Abstract: | การวิจัยนี้เพื่อวิเคราะห์ระบบการใช้งานเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือในองค์กร พบว่าองค์กรนำเทคโนโลยีด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ เครือข่าย และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เข้ามาประยุกต์ใช้ในการทำงานด้วยการพัฒนาขีดความสามารถในการทำงานที่ง่ายและสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น ในหลายองค์กรมีการประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือ ทดแทนการลงเวลาปฏิบัติงานด้วยลายมือชื่อ การตอกบัตร การวิจัยทำให้ทราบว่าเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือมีปัญหาจากผู้ใช้งาน คือ ผู้ใช้งานไม่ได้รับความสะดวก เนืองจากถูกจำกัดสิทธิการใช้งานได้เพียงเครื่องเดียวจากจำนวนเครื่องที่มีอยู่หลายเครื่องในองค์กร ผลของการรายงานมีความคลาดเคลื่อนเพราะข้อมูลไม่ได้มีการบันทึกแบบทันที (Real Time) ในฐานข้อมูลเดียวกัน โดยบันทึกข้อมูลที่หน่วยความจำของเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือและมีการโอนถ่ายข้อมูลผ่านอุปกรณ์สื่อบันทึกข้อมูล ทำให้เกิดความเสียงต่อการสูญหายของข้อมูล พบปัญหาข้อมูลเต็มบ่อยครั้งทำให้บุคลากรใช้เครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือไม่ได้ หลังจากทำการวิเคราะห์ปัญหาและออกแบบระบบการใช้งานของเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือแบบใหม่ โดยออกแบบให้มีการติดตั้งเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือ ณ จุดต่างๆ ขององค์กร มีการเชื่อมต่อเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือกับอุปกรณ์สำรองไฟฟ้าสำหรับสำรองกระแสไฟฟ้าหากเกิดกรณีไฟฟ้าดับและเชื่อมต่อเครือข่ายขององค์กรผ่านอุปกรณ์ Switch ไปยังเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ของผู้ดูแลระบบทำให้ผู้ใช้งานได้รับความสะดวกจากการใช้งาน เพราะผู้ใช้สามารถใช้งานเครื่องตรวจลายนิ้วมือได้ทุกเครื่องในองค์กร จากการเชื่อมต่อกับฐานข้อมล สามารถกำหนดค่ามาตรฐานเวลาให้มีรูปแบบที่เป็นมาตรฐานเดียวกัน ลดความซ้ำซ้อนของข้อมูล ฐานข้อมูลจะเก็บเฉพาะข้อมูลที่จำเป็นเท่านั้นทำให้เกิดความซ้ำซ้อนน้อย กำหนดความปลอดภัยให้กับข้อมูลได้ โดยผู้ดูแลฐานข้อมูลสามารถกำหนดระดับความสามารถในการเรียกข้อมูล ให้แตกต่างกันตามความรับผิดชอบได้ มีการบันทึกข้อมูลแบบทันที (Real Time) และมีประมวนผลทันที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงข้อมูล ข้อมูลจัดเก็บอยู่ในฐานข้อมูลสามารถนำเสนอได้ง่าย |
| Description: | The purpose of this research study is to analyze the applications of fingerprint scanner systems in various organizations. The systems are now widely used in place of the conventional signature and card punch systems. Although currently, most organizations in Thailand employ their own internal computer networks and Information Technology to upgrade their operations and services, but the fingerprint scanner systems are not integrated into the organization computer networks. The results from this research show that in most organizations, workers have difficulties trying to access the only one scanner assigned to them. Moreover, there are errors in the processed data from the scanner, this happens because the recorded data are not transferred directly and in real time to the main computer but they have to be copied and transferred through another recording media. This leads to the problems of data loss, sometimes the scanner memory is full and the system fails to work. As the final part of this research, a new fingerprint scanner system has been designed and proposed with scanners distributed in various departments in the organization and connected through the switching devices to he administrator’s computer. The electricity for each scanner is supplied by an uninterruptible power supply to provide a backup electricity when the utility mains fail. With the application of this new proposed system, workers can conveniently use any scanners in the organization. Since all the scanners are connected to the same database, the time base for every scanners are the same, errors are eliminated, data securities are obtained and data are recorded in real time/ The system administrator gets instant access to current up-to-date data so that the data can be conveniently processed and presented. |
